GSOP is pleased to announce the addition of Allen Webster of Jacksonville, Alabama as one of the school's instructors.

Allen was born in Anniston, Alabama, on April 25, 1966. He was baptized in Ohatchee, Alabama, on April 25, 1978 (during a meeting preached by James Boyd). He is married to Melissa, from Munford, Alabama and they have four children (Rosa, 24; Daniel 19; David, 17; and Lois, 16). There are six preachers in his immediate family.

Allen was in the first graduating class of the Freed-Hardeman University Master of Ministry program (1989-1990). He studied under Wendell Winkler at Faulkner University (B.A. in Biblical Studies, 1986-1988) and under Curtis Cates at the Memphis School of Preaching (Undergraduate Diploma in Biblical Studies, 1984-1986; graduate diploma, 1989-1991).

He has preached the gospel since 1984, and has worked in Jacksonville, Alabama since 1995. Previously he labored in Tiplersville, Mississippi (1989-1995), Oxford, Alabama (associate, 1986-1988), and as a student in Somerville, Tennessee (1984-1986). He holds 12-15 meetings/lectures a year and has preached in about 20+ states/nations. He has done mission work in Scotland, Great Britain; Aruba, Dutch Caribbean; Guyana, South America; New Zealand, Tasmania; Tanzania, Africa, as well as several U.S. cities and communities.

He is editor of House to House/Heart to Heart, a paper used by 1000 churches of Christ to reach two million families each issue. More than 250,000,000 copies have been circulated since 1994. He has written about 500 tracts (five million in print), five Bible Courses, and three class books. Allen is a director of the Polishing the Pulpit Conference, attended annually by about 5,000 Christians. He directs the The Great Smoky Mountain Marriage Retreat attended by about 500 couples around Valentine’s Day.
